Brite Visuals is participating in the Southern California American Association of Physics Teachers Physics Student Video Contest. SCAAPT is proud to present its 1st Annual Physics Student Video Contest. Physics students, create a factually accurate, self-contained 2-5 minute video on any 'Physics' topic that excites you in order to encourage other students to take physics. The contest is open to all Southern California high school, community college and undergraduate students.

This video features, junior at Temple City High School, Eric Lin presenting his physics experiment. His set up takes use of the Doppler Effect and shows how it can be used in reality.

Years from now, the memory of Wesley and Cathy's Prom night together remains fresh in their minds. Deciding to meet up one day, the two recall their joyous Prom memories, realizing that they would never forget that night. Prom is the high school event that is only attended very few times!

Temple City High School Prom 2012 will be held on the nineteenth of May at KDB (Kitchen-Den-Bar), located at Long Beach. This upbeat, retro-esque venue features games, music, and a dedicated dance floor. It features high quality catering from the venue itself and complimentary passes to all of the games all night! Be sure not to miss out on Prom!

Behind the Footage

The making of this production was extremely early for the release date. Our post-production crew was able to add some finishing touches a month before the premiere. The actual filming took one day and post-production also took the span of the following day. When the cast and crew arrived in Long Beach California, everything was set the way the director imagined it.

Before the filming, our pre-production crew set up a basic schedule for the cast and crew to follow. The filming proceeded smoothly, til the lunch break at the Prom Venue itself. The owner of the venue was kind enough to allow our crew to film inside their building. "The most confusing part of making this video work was to confuse the viewers. We want to make the place feel as if there were around one thousand well dressed high school students"-Director of Brite Visuals. This was extremely hard to accomplish because we did not rent the location to ourselves. Thus we needed to share it with many children and families.

A Shade of Gray

A boy named Clinton is new in town. On the first day of school, he accidentally bumps into the wrong guy who later turns out to be the bully. With nobody to help him, Clinton endures a series of episodic trials that Bruce (the bully) throws at him. After being thrown around a couple times, Clinton realizes that nobody cares, not even his own mother, and then proceeds to end his own life.

The point of this video is to raise awareness for bullying. Alice symbolizes the people who stand around and watch, but are hesitant in helping those in need.

About 282,000 high-school students are bullied every month.
One out of three kids are threatened to have their life taken.
20% of high school students have seriously contemplated suicide.

The video was basically someone seeing and planning the day before it actually happens. The donation of cash resembled his faith in this "good luck charm." At the end, he realizes that it was all a dream and that he had the day all planned and spread out before him.
